Cera lifted her head up at the sound of Seth moving around. What was he doing now? She saw him stoop down to pick something up and start messing with the door to the house. He turned away from it suddenly, and walked back towards her.
“The doors unlocked” He said to her. His idiotic mood seemed to be coming back. At least, it could be put to some use. She could actually stay in the house now thanks to him. The thought of sleep was extremely welcoming. To be inside, and feel safe and warm, that was welcomed too. He held out his hand to her to help lift her up. What? Was he suddenly a gentleman? Cera was sure this kid was different than most, other than being a vampire.
She took his hand and allowed him to help her to her feet. Cera used his hand to steady herself, her balance was still on its way back. She walked up the few steps to the door, turned the knob, and pushed it open. Cera hadn't realized how cold she was until the warmth of the air coming from the house enveloped her. She quickly walked inside and kicked off her shoes.
Knowing how long she'd been out there in the cold led her to grab a blanket from a hall closet and situate herself on the couch. Maybe drown herself in TV before she knocked out. Before that though, she'd have to make a stop in the kitchen, her growling stomach reminded her. The tile that decorated the floor of the kitchen was opaque to the extreme, and very cold to the bare skin of her feet. Cera grabbed the handle on the fridge and yanked it open, revealing its contents. She snatched out the gallon of milk and went into the pantry to dig around for cereal. She was honestly too lazy to fix anything more complicated than that.
She through the stuff all together in a bowl she had found out of the dishwasher. Hopefully it was clean. Cera couldn't care less at the moment, she was hungry. She began pulling open random drawers to find a spoon. Of course, her utmost downfall, have all her cereal ready to go and not be able to find a spoon. Oh, well. She grabbed a questionably clean spoon from the dishwasher. All set, she walked back into the living room, covered herself in a blanket, switched on the TV, and ate her cereal.

He watched her enter the house and then disappear behind the closed door. He turned and left, still walking slowly, toward nowhere. He wondered the streets of aimlessly, ignoring the stares he was getting, by walking around without a shirt on a cold night. He feet carried him to the other side of town, to the forest that mad the towns bordered. It was black as midnight under the canopy of trees, but he could see fine. Animals rustled in the leaves as he passed, uneasy with his presence.
He kept on walking and ended up at a small pond, illuminated by moonlight. The storm had caused the pond to swell over its banks, and water slapped lazily against the closest trees. He sat down next to the lake and gazed into its depths, his mind wandered. Eventually the first signs of dawn, appeared and he made his way back to town, getting inside as the first rays of sun broke the horizon.

Cera awoke blurry eyed a few hours later when sunlight streamed in through the open window. She glanced outside, Sam was back, or at least her car was in the driveway. Why hadn't she woken her up? Or at least turned off the TV. It was still droning on from last night when she's crashed. Her cereal bowl was on the floor and she was hopelessly tangled in her blanket. At least it hadn't started raining again. It looked like it actually might be a nice day out. It seemed as if her vampire would have to stay inside today.
Sam walked into the living room in her pajamas. "Hey, what have you bee up to?" She asked curiously. Cera glared at her.
"I got locked outside until about a few hours ago when I got someone to pick the lock of the house for me." She stuck out her tongue in Sam's direction.
"Hey, don't hate on me," Sam replied, holding her hands up in surrender. "you were the one who didn't want to. Wanted to take a walk, remember? I told you I was going to be out late. “And who is this lock picker, eh? A guy? Oooooh!” Sam crooned immaturely.
"I didn't realize that meant until like one o'clock in the morning!" Cera answered sharply. “So what if it was a guy? He was just trying to be nice.”
“You were staying up late with a guuuuuuuy?” Sam said, widening her eyes and smiling.
“Shut up, it wasn’t even like that!” Cera almost shouted. Then she thought of what did happen and she shuddered. “If you would just lis-“
“Cera is mad because I was gone late while she was up with a boy and now she’s getting all defensive which is making me suspicious.” Sam cut her off in a sing song voice. Cera gave up trying to talk to her, it just wasn’t worth it. Maybe she’d go out again, she didn’t feel like having Sam on her back all day especially after locking her out of the house.
“I’m gonna go out, bye Sam.” Cera said shortly.
“You kidding, going out to see your booooyfriend?” Sam accused. Cera ignored her and ran to her room to get dressed and brush her hair and teeth.
She left a half hour later. Maybe she’d go for a walk. Again. But whatever. She grabbed her backpack form the night before and set off, ignoring all of Sam’s immature comments.

The sun was just passed the mid mark in its journey through the sky when Seth came around. He had fallen asleep on the couch, propped up on a few pillows with a book in his hand. He considered going outside, the sun wouldn’t hurt him, well not immediately. He could withstand the sun for a few hours before he started burning.
It was 3:00 when he left the small apartment that he rented a few blocks from the edge of town. He had put on a new shirt, this time blue, and removed all the dead grass from of his hair. As he walked out the door into the glare of the sun he slipped on a pair of sunglasses. He turned left and strolled toward the interior of the city toward the downtown section; it was the only interesting part city.
Kids ran screaming through the streets, playing games of tag or fighting with imaginary swords. Their parents watched him with suspicion as he walked by, giving him the evil eye. He just ignored the looks and continued on. He didn’t care what they thought. They were just stupid. The sun was casting long shadows when he finally arrived downtown.

Cera walked for what seemed forever until she was finally on the path she’d been on the night before, when she hadn’t even started talking to that Seth guy. The change to the area was extremely noticeable. Instead of being empty and desolate, kids ran around having a good time and parents scolding them whenever their play became too rough. It was a happy scene, normal, something you’d probably see in a movie.
She continued down the path not bothering to stop and rest, she wasn’t fazed yet. She was just getting started. Cera looked up at the Apartment complex as she passed it; the building was situated at the edge of the little path ruining the natural feeling. Seth probably lived there, he obviously didn’t live in town or she would have seen him before now. Plus, he could easily have followed her into town with his house being beside the path that led directly to it. Cera paused for a moment, but no one walked in or out of the complex. She couldn’t help feeling a little down-hearted. She liked all the wrong things, including Seth. It seemed one of her bigger flaws, along with her trigger-happy anger problem.
Cera forced herself to continue on, trying not to feel disappointed. She had no reason to be other than the fact Seth wasn’t out. What was she expecting? He was a vampire, it was sunny. Vampire plus sun equaled what? Burned vampire? Did they turn to dust, or evaporate, or what? She’d have to ask him the next time he felt like stalking her.

He needed a new shirt after last night’s little attack, so he walked into one of the shops that lined the street. The gasp that came from the sales clerk meant she had seen him, but it was expected. She stared for a few minutes, as he continued to look for a shirt. He really hated shopping. Finally the girl built the courage to come over to him, and in an almost too sweet voice asked “Is there anything I can help you find?” He imagined the double meaning in those words. “No I’m fine.” He replied curtly and went on looking. Finally he found a shirt almost identical to the one that had been destroyed. It was black but had two swords crossed on the front.
He went to the counter and paid for the shirt, the girl blushed the entire time. She seemed about to burst into giggles. Finally he was out of there, he could hear her giggling as he left. He kept walking the street, bored but he had nothing better to do. He started back toward the park, he would wonder around there for a while. The grass was still a bit muddy from yesterday’s rain and children ran and threw mud at each other, their parents yelling at them to stop it.He finally settled on the same bench he had been sitting on yesterday, it was partially shaded from the sun by a small tree, enabling him to remove his sunglasses. He was still bored out of his mind.

Cera frowned slightly when gray clouds drifted into the clear, blue sky. Rain again? She thought glumly. She had just started to think that it might be a sunny day. This time, though, she hadn't even brought an umbrella.
Cera reached into her pocket as she felt her phone vibrate. What is it now Sam? she thought. "What is it?" Cera asked.
"Uh, someone sounds like there in a good mood." Sam snapped.
"I could say the same thing." Cera replied tartly.
"Well, my parents came over unexpectedly and they brought my little sister. They asked me if I could watch her for the day, and left." Sam explained. Cera groaned, predicting what was coming. "You see, I have this thing for the collage I'm going to and I need to go and I don't have the time to watch her."
"What 'thing'?" Was all Cera could say. So much for her day. She reminded herself that she could always just refuse.
"It's an interview to see if I'm, you know, smart enough to attend." Cera could practically see her making a face into the phone. Cera sighed, she was going to say yes. She knew how important this was to her friend.
"Fine, Sam, I'll do it." Cera sighed again, turned off her phone, and spun around, walking straight back the way she came. She found herself liking Sam less and less these days.

A cloud floated lazily across the sky with a few more following behind it. It slowly moved in front of the sun and cast its long shadow over the ground. Clouds were beginning to gather on the western sky, becoming darker as more joined the first. People began leaving the park, packing up their picnics and collecting their children as another storm threatened to break. Sunlight broke through a gap in the clouds, and then disappeared again.
Seth sat, watching as all of this occurred. None of which was of much interest to him. He wasn’t really paying attention. A familiar voice finally brought him back to reality; it was faint but he recognized it, Cera. “Great” he said aloud, this would be good, she wouldn’t be happy to see him. She would probably beat him again; he smiled to himself at the thought.
He looked to the place where the voice had come from and there she stood, talking in the phone. The conversation seemed to be annoying her, he smiled, she was so funny when she was angry. Cera continued talking becoming more and more annoyed as she talked. Quickly she hung up on the person she had been talking to and started walking toward him; she looked pissed at whatever her friend had said on the phone. He kept on sitting on his bench, waiting for her to see him.

Cera glanced around her as she walked, hoping that no one had noticed her rather loud conversation. She folded her arms against her chest and pretended not to notice Seth. He had probably followed her here. He had an odd habit of doing that.
She seemed to be racing the oncoming clouds, trying to stay out of the rain. Stupid clouds ruining her day out. Stupid Sam for making her watch a stupid kid who wasn't even related to her. But most of all, stupid Seth, for stalking her. Though she questioned herself whether she truly disliked the last part of all the stupid things in her life.
Cera concentrated to hear a sound that might betray him. Anything. A sign that he was stalking her again. Then maybe she could leave him with the kid. She smiled at the thought. Sam coming home, finding her best friend gone, her little sister sucked dry of all life lying in the middle of the living room, and a scary emo looking kid waiting for her to walk into the kitchen. That could practically make a movie right there.

She hung up the phone, and glanced around. Probably looking for any ease droppers then continued walking towards him.
He saw her glance toward him, and quickly look away, she has defiantly seen him. Plus she hadn’t started running or screaming, that was always a good sign. He stood up and before she could blink twice was walking next to her, just a step behind. Nobody was there to witness his speed, aside from her. As he continued to walk with her she said nothing, she was listening for him not looking, she had no clue he was there. His cocky mood was back from the night before, and he wasn’t trying to hide it.
He finally announced his presence, loudly, hoping to startle her. “So, I don’t even get a scream?” He smirked; waiting for the scowl he knew was coming.

Cera jumped slightly at his sudden announcement, but didn't break her pace. She bit her lip to hold in her sharp retort, and to help hide her scowl. Now matter how much she wanted to, she could not leave Seth with Sam's little sister. Though the idea refused to stop badgering her.
"Go away." She mumbled. "Unless you want to assist me with murder." She scolded herself for letting that slip out. Just then the cloud cover broke and rain spattered in torrents, soaking everything in its downward path. Cera realized that Seth wasn't going to back down without a fight, not literally of course.
"Why don't you go suck someone's blood, 'kay? I'm sure you've got better things to do than stalk me." Cera sniffed. This was getting old, the little vampire-stalking-random-girl-thing wasn't that funny anymore. Just creepy.
OOC:// I posted, there! XD
