Julian Durkes sat in a booth in the back of the bar- called Snow Pea's. Smoke filled around him as he puffed his cigarette silently. Break ups are hard- being dumped is harder. He slowly lifted his small glass of bourbon to his mouth- downing the small amount left in the cup. He waved the big busted waitress over and asked for another drink- tipping her as he did. His eyes scanned the area. It was a typical club/bar.
The drunks sat at the bar- eating peanuts, drinking everything they can. The bar rats stood in the dark corners- eyeing their next victim. Short skirts, revealing shirts, boots or heels- you might as well of called them hookers. Only guys with beer goggles ever went over to them. The dance floor was filled with teens with fake I.Ds, slutty college girls, frat guys. Hip hop- then occasional rock played through the speakers as they danced.
Usually Julian would be trying to talk to some girl- but tonight was different. Tonight was hard. Tonight was the night /he/ was dumped. It never happened- it was never even predictable. But he was caught- and he knew it. Nothing left to do but drink it off. What he always did in these situations. He looked down at the table as the waitress served him his drink. He sipped and continued to smoke his cigarette- thinking of the hangover in the morning.

Lindsey McKay walked into Snow Pea's like she was something else, her hair was curled, her gold skirt was short, way short. She giggled as she saw a guy checking out her very revealed chest, the black tank top really didn't cover much. She headed to the back of the bar with her drink in her hand. She stopped at one of the booths and bite her bottom lip before taking a drink out of her glass, "Something bothering you?" She asked the first guy that she saw. She was over trusting. He could slip something in her drink and then try to rape her.
She would sleep with anyone willingly so there was no point in trying to rape her. She wasn't going to say no to anyone, she never did and she probably never would.

Julian looked up from the table- hearing a girl's voice. He noticed she was talking to him and he looked up into her face. His eyes flowed down to her shoes and back up to her face. "No." He told her shortly.
"I don't mean to be a dick- but why would you go to a bar filled with frat jocks dressed like that?" He asked her, sounding quite rude. He didn't mean to, it just came out like that sometimes.
He noticed her drink and his eyebrows raised, "And you look a little young to be drinkin' on that.." He muttered.

Lindsey rolled her eyes when he said that nothing was wrong, she knew better then that. "I dont believe you." She said softly, her arms crossing slightly.
"Well your the first guy to complain. Most other guys would be trying to get me to their hotel rooms. Its no surprise that your here alone and not out with her girlfriend." She hissed, she could be rude to him too. She rolled her eyes, "I know I'm young, are you going to report me or something? You look pretty young too."

Julian saw her roll her eyes and it kind've pissed him off. "You don't even know me- how do you know I don't look like this all the time?" He asked.
"Maybe I just like girls who have class.." He muttered. He slightly cringed at the sound of the word 'girlfriend.' That's /why/ he was here. To stop thinking about it. "I don't have a girlfriend. Why would you assume that?" He asked her.
"No- I'm not going to report you. And I could at least pass for 21." He told her. He took another drink of his drink and continued to puff on his cigarette, looking up at her, secretly judging her in his head.

Lindsey made a face, "Um whatever, you just looked upset like you got yourself dumped or something." She was trying to make him feel so bad that he would tell her something. "I have class for your information, I just like to get out. And I thought that you had a girlfriend because even if you arent the nicest guy in the world, you are pretty sexy." She was being honest at least.
Her eyes rolled again, "Sure you could and thanks for not reporting me. How old are you anyway?" She was curious.

Julian's expression changed- from mad to angrier. "I did /not/ get myself dumped." He told her, glaring at her. How did she even know? I mean- he figured she'd been around guys in her life, but jeez.. How could she read him like that?
He rolled his eyes at her remark about her having class, but it quickly turned into a smirk as she finished her sentence. "Sexy, huh?" He asked her, still smirking. He puffed his cigarette once more and put it out in the ashtray on the table.
"Yeah-" He said, telling her your welcome. "I'm 19." He said. "How old are you?"

Lindsey giggled into her palm before saying, "Well then if you did get dumped then that girl is blind unless you were a jerk to her. I dont think you would be but you never know. I'm Lindsey by the way."
A smirk formed along her lips as she said "Yeah your pretty sexy, I'll admit that. You arent like most of the guys in here. The others are all ugly and fat." She nodded and as if to prove her point, she pointed at a man who fit her description.
"Oh my my my." She whispered, he was older then her, that wasnt good. "I'm nineteen too." She was lying because she was only seventeen but he didnt need to know that.

Julian shrugged. "I'm a jerk to everyone." He said as if he was quoting someone. He looked around the bar- there were plenty of guys here. Somehow, he felt pointlessly accomplished that this girl talked to him with no effort on his part. "Julian." He said, introducing himself. "Want to sit down?" He asked, nodding to the booth-seat across the table from him.
He turned his head and looked at the man she pointed. He chuckled a little. "What about him?" He asked her, pointing to a somewhat good looking guy.
"Don't lie-" He began. "That's a great way to start when you first meet someone- lies." He said, sounding like he knew from personal experience.

Lindsey nodded as she sat down, "Okay so your a jerk to everyone? Your not being a jerk right now." She was being sweet as she took a sip from her drink. She nodded as she looked to the guy that he pointed out, "Mmmm your sexier then him. I think, I'll find you a girl." She pointed to a pretty looking girl near them.
"Okay okay I'm seventeen. There." She said with a chuckle as she crossed her legs, she widened her eyes, waiting for his reaction.

Julian shrugged and looked at her. "It's just what I've been told." He said. "And I know I'm not being a jerk- but I was, right?" He asked her. He took a drink of his drink, emptying it. He waved the waitress over and ordered another- paying her in advance.
Julian looked not so pleased with the girl Lindsey chose. "Eh- sluts aren't really my type." He told her, taking a drink of the cup the waitress just brought him. He found another guy- a more preppy, blonde looking type. "Him." He said, pointing him out to her.
"I knew it. I knew you were lying." He said, slightly smiling. "It's alright- You have a fake ID or what?" He asked.

Lindsey nodded, "Well at first you were abit of a jerk but your better now. Your like a hard candy and now we got to the surprise center. I know that sounds cheesy."
She giggled before looking to the blonde guy, "Mmmmm did we stumble into the gay bar by mistake? I'm serious, he seems like he would be more interested in you then me." She quickly pointed to a not so slutty girl and said "Her. She looks about forty so she's probably desperate." "Yeah and I have my conections here, I know the owner's son. Well sorta know him, we hooked up and now I get in here for free and free drinks arent so bad." She added with a nod.

"Yeeah- you're cheesy." He told her, laughing. "I don't have a surprise center- I have a.. gum center." He decided. He was joking with her, and laughed at his own joke. "You have no surprise center. I can tell. Well- it's not a surprise, anymore, anyways." He said, making a comment about her skankiness- but still- only joking.
He laughed at her gay bar comment. He looked over to the 40 year old woman. His smile faded and he looked at Lindsey- "That's my mom.." He told her, but then busted out laughing. "No- no, I'm just kidding." He said. He found another guy- a bad boy look alike. "What about this one?" He said as he pointed.
He listened and watched her as she told her hook up story. He looked away with his 'I really didn't want to hear about that' face. His eyebrows were raised as he took another drink.

Lindsey laughed before saying "Well yeah, I guess its not a surprise anymore. Darn you being able to tell, gum? Thats interesting."
When he said that it was his mom, she was about to say how sorry she was but then he finished and she giggled looking to the bad boy. "Well I do go for the bad boys but I think he' s trying too hard to do what you do so naturally. How about her? She looks really young though." She pointed to what looked like a fourteen year old.
She nodded, "I understand, most guys dont like to hear about great hook ups with other guys, I'll drop it now."

Julian felt like a jerk- and he was about to sound like even more of a jerk. "So- how would you describe your 'surprise' center, then?" He asked, his mouth slightly curved in amusement.
"You're just full of compliments, aren't you?" He stated, quietly. He looked to the girl and laughed. "Yeah- didn't you know I was a pedifile?" He said, sarcastically. He pointed to one more guy- a gangster looking white guy, "What about that guy?" He asked, pointing to him.
Julian nodded and shrugged. "It's just not something you usually talk about with people you just met." He stated. "And it was a /great/ hookup?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. He never really thought girls thought any kind of hookup was great unless they were her boyfriend.
