Three months had gone by since she had first found out. Two months of school Nicole had dealt with the snickers and the rumors. Finally summer, she had already gone through a month of that and it felt like the same stuff every day. She couldn't party, couldn't drink, couldn't smoke, and couldn’t do drugs. Sitting around at home she sometimes wished she was back in school.
Her parents knew and they seemed like they we're somewhat okay with it, though it wasn't like they were even around enough to actually not be okay with it. And Brandon we’ll he had already made himself very clear about the situation and anyways it was already too late for that. Adoption well that was still up in the air, though it was very far up in the air.
Nicole had finally awoke and looking at the time she was sure Joshua would be there soon. No longer did she bother getting up and getting ready, she rather just wallow in her own self pity in her bed. Yellow terry cloth shorts and a blue DC hoddie, what she wore to bed and what she planned on wearing until she was dragged out of her house.

Let’s face it, Joshua didn’t know anything about being a father. Who could blame him? He didn’t have any father around, so he didn’t exactly have a role model figure. But all in all, his mother said he’d be an excellent father. Disappointed but excited, she supported the arrival of her grandson. Joshua felt the same way as his mom did, although the little baby wasn’t exactly his grandson was it? He was just excited he didn’t have to gain weight for this whole thing. He’d freak, and freak hard. His tattoos would stretch! Oh mannn!
It was almost time to go to Nicole’s house, and so he decided to get ready. Just kidding. He didn’t give a shit that he let Nicole see him at his worst. He doubted she cared if he straightened his hair, or put on clothes. If she did well, Joshua would need to take the time to get dressed more often. But for now he was content going in his white tank top and boxer shorts. He walked downstairs, and smiled at his mom as she opened of the front door and left the door open for Joshua to walk through.
His car was in the shop, so it would be his mommy that would take him. He didn’t mind at all actually, because he loved his mommy and wasn’t at all embarrassed by her. Besides, most of his friends thought she was hot. Which was a little disgusting . . . but anyway. The two talked about various things in the car before he finally hoped out and walked over to his Nicole’s house. He opened up the door not bothering to knock, and headed himself upstairs only to find Nicole. “Hey sweetie!” He said, as he sat by her.

She pulled the blankets back and uncovered her head with a groan, however that quickly turned into a laugh as she looked at him. She wasn't sure if he was trying to make her feel better but not getting ready or if he was actually just to lazy to do so this morning. Nicole knew that he cared as much or maybe more about his apperance then she did.
"Hey," she rolled over, placing her head onto his legs. She wanted to go back asleep, sleeping made the time pass faster, she was already planning all the ways to sleep through the next six months.
Unlike Joshua she wasn't as excited about this whole parenting thing. Becoming a mother didn't sound like fun, it sounded like her dropping out of school and doing harder work. Honestly she wasn't even sure she could become a mother and the thought of adoption continued to pop back into her head. She hadn't even brought the idea up to Joshua about it.
"We need to talk," she said, already hating the sound of those four little words.

His face light up with a slight smile when he had heard her groan. It reminded Joshua a bit of himself. He was never one to wake up easy, and often it would take his mom more than one shove to get him out of bed. “Don’t laugh at me!” He said, pouting his lips. “It’s a new thing for me.” That wasn’t a lie, if one thing was for sure. But he didn’t feel the need to be his definition of perfect in front of her for some reason. Whatever the feeling was he shrugged it off.
He looked at her and gave her a sweet smile as he ran his inked fingers through his hair. “Good morning beautiful. How was your night?” He asked her, trying to cover up his accent. He’d learned how to do that VIA his drama teacher, and if Nicole liked it better than his usual voice he’d keep trying to cover it up.
He needed to bring up the big word. NAME. You couldn’t just have the baby named baby could you? That would have been horrible. ‘Come here baby!’ It would sound like Joshua was a creeper. He smirked as he imaged him yelling ‘baby’ at daycare. His tongue allowed itself to play with his lip ring.
“We need to talk?” Everyone knew what that meant. Or at least Joshua thought, as his stomach fell in ropes.

"Alright, alright I won't make fun of you. A new thing huh? Well now that you've started it most likely you'll keep doing it. Makes life easier sometimes. And I fell terrible. What about yourself?" she left out a small yawn and closed her eyes. The light had started to peep through her curtains and her eyes hadn't had the time to adjust to it just quite yet. She noticed him trying to cover up his accent and a frowned stated to form on her face.
Quickly she shook it off. "Ah losing the accent now are we," she joked. Though for a reason she couldn't figure out what bothered her about it. Was he trying to change for her or for himself? Was one of the questions in her head.
Names she hadn't even begun to think about them. Why? Nicole was convinced the right thing to do was give up the baby and if that was the case she wouldn't need to figure out name for it.
This wasn't how she had wanted to bring this up with him. Slowly she sat on the bed so she was sitting across from him. In order to buy time she took a while to adjust. Crossing her legs, running her fingers through her hair, pulling her hood up, once more running her fingers through her hair so it fell right undeneath the hood, and then staring at her nails for a few moments with a muttered comment about needing to get another manicure. "So have you thought about adoption," she finally gasped out/
