Nicole smiled. "Yea I just can't remember when I lost my sunglasses," she said slightly laughing at how irrelvent that was at the moment. It wasn't a big deal, she just liked to know things like that.
The new music filled the air and yet she still hadn't found something of his she actually wanted to listen too. Yet she wasn't going to bother him about that anymore. Sooner or later she'd learn to tune the sound out.
"But I want to know everything," she wined turning to look at him. Balancing on one elbow she ran her fingers through her hair.

Julian smiled, thinking about her sunglasses. "If you just would've let me keep them, you'd have them right now." He scolded her. He was going to give them back to her at the party, but she insisted on having them after the detention.
"It's life." He told her about knowing everything, "Someday we all will know- but until then, we're always curious." This is something he'd thought about a lot. Why don't we know everything? "Once I heard some people believe that when we're babies, we are born knowing everything. We just forget as we grow." He said.

Instead of words she ended up sticking her tongue out at him. Chidlish yes, but there really wasn't anything else she could say about the sunglass issue. He was probably right and yet again she would be wrong.
Her elbow collasped under her weight and she kept her head resting on the fallen arm. Many hours had gone by without any real sleep. Little power naps didn't work for this. Knowing her after this she'd be able to sleep for about ten maybe twelve straight hours.
Nicole closed her eyes and thought about his words. "Im pretty sure life would be easier if I just knew everything right now," she smiled and opened her eyes. This had started to take the road where she'd end up saying the same things over and over.

Julian rolled his eyes as he watched her stick her tounge out. "Someone's gunna' rip it off one of these days." He said, talking about her sticking-out-tounge-habit, sounding a lot like a country grandma. He laughed to himself and closed his eyes.
"Do you want to sleep, /now?/" He asked her. He remembered he'd asked her that same question earlier. He couldn't remember the answer, but he knew he asked out of politeness. Even if she said she wanted to sleep, now, he probably wouldn't leave her alone unless he was going to sleep himself.
"What would be the point of life if you already knew everything? Life is about learning and growing, right? How could you do either of those if you knew /everything?/" He asked, thoughtfully.

Being who she was she stuck her tongue out once more, just to tempt him to try and rip it out. A small smile appeared across her face and her eyes felt heavy and fluttered close. This time Nicole didn't even bother to try and open them up again.
No need in fighting against the power that held them down. And she simply rolled over on to her side, in an attempt to becom more comfortable. "Sleep sounds amazing," came the hoarsh whisper. She rubbed at her eyes and reached for the elestaic around her wrist.
One sweeping motion and she was able to pull the hair back into a loose, messy bun. Small pieces of hair fell around her face. "I would just have to grow. One less thing, therefore life would be easier," she chuckled at her own words.

Julian stuck his hand out acting like he was going to catch her tounge, "Almost.." He muttered to himself. He watched her as she closed her eyes and he rolled over on his side, not facing her. He was tired, too.
He laid there slowly trying to drift off, but thoughts kept interrupting his sleep. Random thoughts- ones that wouldn't matter any other time- it's like his brain was doing everything to keep him awake. Fortunately Julian had a counter attack- he got out of the bed and pulled a baggie of weed out of the pants he'd been wearing. He broke the weed up on the table and pulled a pipe out of the drawer. Opening the window, he found his lighter and took some puffs from the pipe.
"Do you want this?" He asked her, holding the pipe into the air. He watched as she pulled her hair up, almost forgetting to smile at her little comment. He only smiled slightly as he stared out the window at the rising sun.

Nicole was actually quite comfortable despite how uncomfortable she might of looked. Or maybe it was the fact she knew that Julian wasn't going to try and do anything to her while she was sleeping. Trust helped her become more comfortable in the boy's room.
Slowly she opened her eyes as she slightly raised her eyes. It did look tempting but it wasn't need. At least not for now. "Nah," she said shaking her head as she let it fall back down on her arm.
Her eyes flickered close and she began to drift off into sleep. Many thought filled her mind, and she had a feeling she was awake but she wasn't. It almost seemed as the whole night was on replay in her dreams.
