In the back of the library sat Nicole Marie. Saturday school yet again. Why is the question that’s usually asked. Well according to her English teacher Mr. Carter the sheer white ruffled tube top she had wore yesterday was out of dress code, sunglasses were meant to be worn only outside, desks should not be sat upon, oh and we can’t forget the excessive cursing is a disruption to the rest of the class. However today’s Saturday school shouldn’t be that bad. Ms. Mary the most oblivious teacher got stuck in charge of dealing with the trouble makers.
The room was quite cold and Nicole Marie was gratefully for her spur of the moment grab the black velour sweatshirt of the back of the car. Quickly she slipped it over the white tank top she wore and zipped it up before leaning back in the seat. “Three more fucking hours,” she muttered to herself her eyes stayed on the clock. She didn’t believe that watching the time would make it go slower. No matter what a minute would always have sixty seconds and an hour would always have sixty minutes and Saturday School was going to have one hundred and eighty minutes in it.
No one she knew had walked into the library and she couldn’t lie she was quite happy about it. She was sure she still reeked of alcohol and smoke from the night before. Her hair was knotted at the nape of her neck with pieces that had fallen out surrounding her face. And the jeans she wore were from yesterday, along with the tank top. Sometime during the night she had misplaced her heels and the only shoes she could find were a pair of Uggs. However she was grateful for that since the room was awfully cold.
“This should be against the law.”

Julian walked into the library, shaking his head. Saturday school? Only for smoking a joint in the bathroom? What is the harm in that? "Second hand smoke is more dangerous than first hand." Is what the principle had told him as he walked into the bathroom after the 4th hit from the pinner joint. Julian swore and then tried to flush it- but it was obvious. The smoke filled the room. And you know, Julian felt kind've stupid afterwards. But, that wasn't the only reason Saturday school was assigned to him. Hiding in the bathroom was ditching- which Julian was very unaware of. Julian sat two tables away from Nicole. He didn't feel like talking to anyone. He felt somewhat sick from the previous night's adventure. She might've been there- but he couldn't really remember anything after the sixth shot of whiskey. He wore a black tee shirt under his grey hoodie and black sweat pants that he'd slept in. His black vans stuck out under them. His hair was stuck up from his sleep and not willing to be smoothed down. He leaned back in his chair and then decided to lay his head down.

Looking around the room Nicole finally saw a familiar face one that she was almost certain she had seen the night before. "Julian Durkes," she rolled her eyes behind the sunglasses. Ah the lovely sunglasses they hid everything when he eyes decided they wanted to betray her. Visine well that burnt so that was out of the question. Also she had awoke to find a bruise slightly underneath her right eye and it ran down the side of her nose. However she managed to scrap up enough concealer to cover the part down her nose.
What had happened? Well she wasn't quite sure of that, but if it was noticed she was sure the usual "I fell" excuse would work. Nicole herself was starting to believe that the bruises were obtained by falling what else could've happened.
Nicole suddenly felt tired and she cursed herself for not stoping at the local Starbuck or even at the 7 Eleven to pick up a Red Bull. She would need her caffine boost in order to get her through the rest of this detention and she wondered if anyone had some they'd want to give her.

Julian lifted one eyebrow along with and eyelid. "You say something?" He asked Nicole, a table in between them.
He looked for the teacher- she was behind her newspaper, probably sleeping. So oblivious.
"Hey- didn't I see you last night?" He asked, not really sure if he had or not. He wasn't even sure if she was the same girl or not- she hadn't been wearing sunglasses the night before.
He sat up and looked over to her, waiting for her to answer him. He stood up, silently and moved to the middle chair in the table right next to her, so they wouldn't have to talk loud to hear each other.

She shruged. "I don't know you tell me if you saw me last night. I'm not your eyes I have no idea what you saw last night," she chuckled. Though she was pretty sure she saw him last night, now that he was closer and she had taken a better look at him. And if she saw him then there wasn't any doubt in her mind he hadn't seen her.
Her elbows rested themselves ontop of the table along with her chin resting in her palms. Slowly she tilted her head to the left and then to the right looking at the boy. "Wouldn't it be easier if you took a seat there," she nodded her head in the direction of a chair across from her.
Her head hurt so bad that the sound of her own voice was causing herself much more pain then she felt like dealing with. Nicole figured that the quieter she got to talk then the less pain she'd feel. It made sense. Again she found another reason to curse herself. Her lack of remembering to grab a few pain killers on her way out.

He smirked slightly as the invitation to join her table was annouced. He got up slowly, afraid he might throw up. He took the seat across from her and looked closer at her. "I did see you. You were pretty drunk- or whatever you did.. How do you feel?" He asked smiling at her.
He leaned back and stuck his hands in the pockets of his hoodie. "This is ridiculous.." He muttered to himself, referring to being at school on Saturday. It was by far the worst punishment the school could give. Suspension was a blessing- In school restriction was alright, too. Julian had been through all of it.
The only thing that kept him in school half the time was his mother. He was a secret momma's boy. She would do anything for the boy. She was up at the school at least 5 times a year, yelling at the priciples- even if Julian was the one who really was wrong.

She laughed. "Well that's fantastic. We'll just say whatever I did, no need to go into detail," she pulled her sunglasses up a bit and pointed to the bruise. "I say I'm doing pretty well. How about you," she said as she returned the sunglasses back to her face. Actually she felt like hell and had no desire to be here, she should've ditched it. Knowing the school they'd probably give her another one because of that.
She had no idea why the school cared what she wore, maybe siting on top of the desk she understood except she was doing it before the bell even rang therefor she believe she shouldn't have gotten in trouble for that. And the excessive cursing well there wasn't really any excuse for that.
She nodded her head in reference to his comment about this being ridiculous. Nicole herself would've put it in different terms but keeping things rated G every now and then wasn't the bad. "No this is bull shit," she finally said. G rated things didn't work well for her.

Julian made a face when he saw the bruise on Nicole's face. He didn't want to intrude into her life, but he couldn't help it. "Did you fight someone?" He asked her, feeling concerned for a girl he barely knew.
"And I'll be fine." He said, implying that he wasn't doing so great at the moment. He took some pills out of his hoodie pocket and set them on the table. "You want one? It's loratab." He told her. He broke one in half and swallowed the pills with no drink. It was a special talent he possesed.
He scratched his head and made a secret look to the teacher, again. She was still behind her newspaper. Lucky, for him. That would've been expellsion (don't know how to spell that.) for him. His mother would have his hide for this.

She reached for a pill, yes she avoided the one in half and grabbed a whole one. "I fell," she said tossing the pill into her mouth. She snapped her head back, closed her eyes and swollowed the pill. "I hate doing that," she muttered and then hoped he didn't hear her.
"You'll be fine? So if I may ask other then the obvious is there anything else wrong?" Nicole had no idea why this boy interested her so much, but talking to him was better then sitting there staring at the clock counting the seconds.
She chuckled as he looked at the teacher, Nicole knew that there was no way the teacher was going to notice them or the pills. Her face was glued behind the newspaper and Nicole would bet that she was probably half asleep or even completely asleep. She looked at the other half of the pill sitting on the table and picked it up.
She fumbled around with the pill in her hand trying to decided if she wanted to take it or not.

Julian rolled his eyes at her remark of falling. "Suure.." He said, smirking at her. He watched her down the pill and he raised his eyebrows. He didn't know any girl who would do that. He smiled when she quietly said how she hated doing that. He was so dirty.
"What do you mean 'is there anything else wrong?' I feel like I'm going to throw up. That's what's wrong. It's called a Whiskey Hangover. I didn't have time for any hangover concoctions." He said smiling at her. He put the rest of the pills in the pocket as she picked up the half.
"You can have it if you want.. If you can handle it. I'm not carrying you home." He said, smirking. "Unless I get something out of it." He said, quieter.

Nicole tossed the pill in her mouth and swollowed that one, she was glad he didn't try and stop her. "Ahh hangovers aren't they just wonderful and if you're going to throw up please not around me," she turned her head away from him and pretended that she was going to get up out of the chair with a laugh.
Any other guy she knew she would've gave a playfull push or punch, however when Julian said this she wasn't quite sure what to do. Sure guys had said stuff like that to her before however they were friends or she was uaully to wasted to even notice or care.
"If you get something out of it, well what would you want," she raised her eyebrows above the lense of her sunglasses. She might as well go along with his little thing. All for pure enjoyment of course.

Julian laughed as she backed away her chair from him. "Ah- I'll be fine. I can keep it down." He said smiling. "Are you going to be okay?" He asked her referring to the pills.
When he heard 'What would you want'- a huge smile emerged across his face. "I'm just messing with you.. I wouldn't take advantage of you. I'm not that type of guy." He said, quietly, but still smiling. He repositioned his feet, feeling like he shouldn't of said that to her. He really couldn't help himself- He was dirty- like I said before.
He looked up at her and examined her face. She was pretty. She would be prettier without sunglasses on inside. "Why don't you take those off? We're inside- no one else is around. I'm not going to make fun of you for getting beat up.." He said, teasing her.

Slowly she removed the sunglasses off her face and slid them across the table and over to him. "I didn't get beat up thank you very much," she stuck a pierced tongue out at him and then leaned back in the chair.
"I will be more then good. I will be fantastic. This isn't even that much compared to other things," she giggled. "Actually I'll only be fantastic if you managed to hold everything in," she added though with no giggle this time. She was being completely serious about that. Throwing up wasn't something she liked to be around even when it was her own. It was completely gross in her mind.
She leaned across the table so she was closer to him. "Really you aren't that type of guy," she asked in a whisper. "Because from what I've heard you're worse then that type of guy." Nicole wasn't sure if he was the guy that she had heard that about but whatever it didn't quite matter. She had said it might as well go along with it

Julian picked up her sunglasses and fiddled with them. "Sure- you fell and it made a bruise on the side of your nose. That's really logical." He told her. He put the sunglasses back on the table and looked at her. She was much prettier without the sunglasses.
"What do you mean 'compared to other things? I mean, I'm not trying to be in your business.." He said, feeling quite rude and such. He would feel offended or angry if someone were to try and pry into his life like that.
Julian's eyebrows raised at the thought of someone talking shit about him. Maybe it wasn't shit- maybe it was an epic tale of drunk sex.. Yeah right, but he was still astonished. "Who told you that?" He asked her quietly with a straight face.

Shrugging she moved away from his face and leaned back in the seat. A hand went up and covered the bruise on her face. "Lets say there was this guy I was /talking/ to and then this other guy who I was also /talking/ to showed up and then things didn't go well. Lets say I jumped in between the fight," she wasn't quite sure if that was how things happened but it worked for her and she hoped it would work for JUlian.
Her hand left her face and waved the air, it was her way of saying nevermind. Nicole didn't feel like spilling her whole life contents on the table with a boy she just met. She didn't really spill her life out to even her best friends.
Nicole's eyebrows burried in while she tried to think who told her and if it was actually this same boy right in front of her. With a smile she held up her hands as if she was surrendering. "I never tell my sources," she said trying to keep a serious face.
